You can request to receive client's CHESS holding statements and notifications electronically instead of by post.
To update client's CHESS communication preference to email, please:
- Please contact our support team to obtain the Change of CHESS Communication Preference form via live chat or email. You may also download the attached form at the bottom of this article.
- Print and complete all required details, including client's account information and preferred email address
- Clients have to sign the form using a physical (wet‑ink) signature that matches their identification records
- Submit the completed form to us via email (scanned copy or clear photo) or post/Fax (as per the form instructions).
The form must be printed and signed by hand (digital signatures are not accepted) All account holders (if applicable) must sign the form. Ensure the email address provided is accurate and active.
Once your request has been processed, clients CHESS holding statements and notifications will be delivered electronically via the ASX CHESS statements portal and paper statements will no longer be issued.
