Can I link an existing Macquarie CMA?

An existing Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA) cannot be linked to a new Bell Direct trading account. This is due to authorisation requirements, as Bell Direct is not permitted by Macquarie to link a client's existing CMA to a new Bell Direct account.

 

If you wish to use your existing Macquarie CMA as the settlement account for your Bell Direct trades, you may select "A New Direct Investment Account" as the settlement option during the account application process. This option allows you to nominate any bank account for settlement purposes, including your Macquarie CMA.

 

Please note that selecting this option does not provide access to Macquarie CMA brokerage rates. Trades will be charged at the Direct Investment Account brokerage rates. For further details, please refer to the Fees section on the Bell Direct website: https://www.belldirect.com.au/smarter/fees.
