How do I place an order?

You can place your order online by logging into your Bell Direct trading account. 

Once logged in, click the Trade icon to bring up the order pad. To successfully place your order, you'll need the following information:
 

  • The ASX code of the company you wish to trade 

  • The quantity or value of shares you wish to buy or sell

  • Whether your order will be placed at limit or market to limit*

  • The validity of your order (for instance day only, good till cancelled or valid until a specified expiry date

  • Your trading PIN

 

You are also to place an order over the phone, however, please note that this will incur additional brokerage fees. To do so, please contact our support centre at 1 300 786 199 during market hours. 

*Please note that you can only place a market‑to‑limit order during market hours. Limit orders can be placed at any time.
