Transferring Assets from a Deceased Estate account

Can shares be transferred to multiple beneficiaries?

Yes. Shares may be distributed among multiple beneficiaries in accordance with the instructions set out in the Will or other applicable legal documentation.

 

Are there fees for transferring shares from a deceased estate?

Yes. Transferring shares from a deceased estate requires an Off Market Transfer, which incurs a fee of $55 per parcel of shares transferred. Completion of the transfer requires submission of the relevant Off Market Transfer form.
