Why is my international trading order being rejected despite having an approved authorization?

Your international trading order may be rejected if the funds used for the order are not in the correct currency. Before placing an international order, make sure you have transferred sufficient funds from AUD to USD.

How to transfer funds to USD

  1. Log in to your Bell Direct account and navigate to My Account, then select Funds Transfer.

  2. Select the International Transfer tab.

  3. In the Send field, confirm it shows the Australian flag and AUD. In the Receive field, confirm it shows the US flag and USD.

  4. Enter the amount you wish to transfer, then press Tab. The system will automatically calculate the corresponding USD amount based on the current FX rate.

  5. Select Next, then enter your trading PIN and select Confirm to complete the transfer.

Once the transfer is complete, your USD funds will be available immediately for trading.

Please note that a minimum transfer amount of USD 300 applies.
