You will need to create an International Trading Account before transferring funds to USD. You will also need sufficient Australian dollars available in your Bell Financial Trust account.
Once the account has been created, follow the steps below:
- Ensure a minimum balance equivalent to USD 300 is available, as this is the minimum transfer amount.
- Access the Funds Transfer screen. You can reach this via the Transfer Currency links on the website or by selecting Funds Transfer from the My Account menu.
- Select the International Transfer tab. Your available AUD funds for transfer and available USD funds for trading and withdrawal will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Confirm the Send field displays the Australian flag and AUD, and the Receive field displays the US flag and USD.
- Enter the amount to be sent or received, then press the Tab key. The system will calculate the corresponding amount using the FX rate shown on screen.
- Select Next to proceed.
- Enter your PIN and select Confirm to complete the transfer.
Once completed, the transferred USD will be available immediately for trading.
